Disney released 101 Dalmatians in 1961. The cartoon comedy, Disney's 17th animated feature, was based off a novel of the same name from 1956 by Dodie Smith. It, of course, is the story of a cute litter of puppies that are stolen by the rude Cruella De Vil and their inevitable return home. The movie was a smash hit and has had an enduring legacy ever since, being remade as a live action film and having various animated sequels made in more recent years. This original 101 Dalmatians shirt, deadstock with tags still attached, features a great illustration of the Dalmatian litter.
