Antidote were a hardcore band from New York founded in the early 80s. They self-released their Thou Shalt Not Kill 7" in 1983. Featuring Rob Nunzio on guitar, Arthur Googy of The Misfits on drums, Brian Caulfield on bass, and Louie Rivera on vocals, Antidote wrote one of the most classic NYHC 7"s of all time but the original lineup fell apart shortly thereafter. Nunzio kept the band going, recruiting Drew Stone on vocals and recording a few LPs. In 1992, Active Records released the compilation LP Viva Los Pendejos which brought together songs from various recording sessions. This original Antidote shirt, deadstock with a few light marks, is from the 1992 release of Viva Los Pendejos.
