Big Star, the legendary power pop band fronted by Alex Chilton, originally broke up in 1975 after a relatively short but significant stint. Nearly two decades later, in 1993, Chilton got the band back together with an almost entirely new lineup, the only other original member was drummer Jody Stephens. They toured regularly and even released new music up until 2010 when Chilton tragically passed away. Big Star may have never been the most popular rock act in the world, but they certainly were one of the most influential. This original Big Star tour shirt, in great condition, is from the beginning of their reunion era in 1993.
