Burning Spear is a roots reggae artist from Jamaica. He began playing in 1969 and has been active ever since. Burning Spear has won two Grammy awards, both for Best Reggae Album. In 1997, his album Appointment With His Majesty was released on the Heartbeat Records label. The following year, Burning Spear played this gig with the Black Rebels. This original Burning Spears shirt, nicely worn in great condition, features a flyer for his September 18, 1998 show at Mt. Holyoke College's Chapin Auditorium with The Black Rebels.
