Washington, DC has long been known as Chocolate City because of its large Black population. In the 70s, over 70% of the citizens of DC were Black. Chocolate City Tees was a clothing company based out of DC, paying homage to the city while also making politically-driven shirts for its residents. This vintage Chocolate City Tees long sleeve, lightly worn and faded, gives respect to the Black woman who have struggled  before us.
