Complacency was a label started by Illinois-based experimental musician Dan Burke in 1983, mainly as a vehicle to release tapes by his project Illusion of Safety as well as releases from within his close circle of collaborators. These two sheets are from ten years later, when the label assumed an air of professionalism, with its own stationary, press releases, and mailorder forms. Illusion of Safety, Jim O'Rourke, Organum, and Randy Greif are some of the names you'll find. The mailorder form has a handwritten note by Dan Burke along the margins.
