
Vintage Interview Magazine "Don Johnson" Cover September 1986 Issue
Interview was a magazine founded by Andy Warhol in 1969, shortly after the attempt on his life by Valeria Solanas. Initially headquartered at The Factory, Warhol said of the magazine "I felt there was a need for an easygoing, conversational magazine." Over time, Warhol gradually withdrew from the everyday duties of the magazine, and it remains in publication to this day. This issue features an interview with Don Johnson, with cover art by the in-house illustrator Richard Bernstein. In good condition, with some light creasing at the corners.
