The Jerry Springer Show debuted in 1991. Originally, it was a political talk show. Springer had a career as a politician and political commentator and his show initially followed a more traditional approach. However, after a few years of mediocre ratings, the show took a turn towards including more antagonistic guests discussing more antagonistic topics, ones that would usually lead to verbal and sometimes physical fights in the studio. The new format became a massive hit, making it a cultural touchstone of the decade. This original Jerry Springer "Too hot!" shirt is in great condition.
