José Guadalupe Posada, a Mexican printmaker born in 1852, was an artist known for his Calaveras. During his lifetime, Posada was said to have made over tens of thousands of pieces of work. This original José Guadalupe Posada single stitch tee, nicely worn in, features a print of "La Calvera Catrina," an early 20th century etching Posada intended to critique the adoption of European styles in Mexico. The illustration has gone on to become an iconic image for Dia De Muertos.
