Le Tigre is a band from New York, NY. The group was founded by Kathleen Hanna in 1998 after the breakup of her previous band, Bikini Kill. Le Tigre released two records with Mr. Lady Records, their self-titled 1999 album and 2001's Feminist Sweepstakes, before signing to Universal subsidiary Strummer for their final album, 2004's This Island. Their message was explicitly political and their songs were exceptionally danceable. They broke up in 2007 and reunited sporadically ever since. This original Le Tigre shirt is nicely faded and worn.
