The Jewish symbol the Lion Of Judah has been used in Ethiopia for centuries. The Solomonic dynasty, an order of Orthodox Christian monarchs who came into power in the 13th century, cited a connection to Israel's Royal House Of Judah. As such, the symbol became an important cultural artifact for the African monarchist movement, but it also extended far beyond the continent. Rastafarians have also adopted the Lion Of Judah. This vintage Lion Of Judah hat from the 1990s is deadstock in excellent condition.
