Marilyn Monroe was an actor and model from Los Angeles, CA. Born Norma Jeane Mortenson in 1926, Monroe began modeling during WWII as a pin up girl, eventually finding her way to the silver screen a few years later where she would become one of the biggest stars, acting in 15 movies. She died in 1962 at the age of 36 from a drug overdose.
