"Fortunate" was a Grammy-Nominated song by Maxwell. It was written for the soundtrack for the 1999 movie Life, starring Eddie Murphy and Martin Lawrence. The movie is a buddy comedy. The soundtrack went Platinum and the movie was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Makeup. Imagine that happening now.
