R.E.M. were a rock band from Athens, GA founded in 1980 by Michael Stipe, Bill Berry, Peter Buck, and Mike Mills while they were students at the University of Georgia. The band released a slew of albums and singles on I.R.S. Records in the 80s, gaining a substantial following, before signing to Warner Bros for their 1988 album Green. The record saw the band move towards more mainstream acceptance, and would lead them into the 90s where they would take the world by storm with songs like "Loosing My Religion" and "Everybody Hurts." New Adventures In Hi-Fi was the band's tenth album and is regarded by critics and fans as one of their finest works. The album has since been certified Platinum. This vintage R.E.M. two-sided shirt, in good condition with light discoloration on the shoulder areas, features the album art in a nice Yves Klein monochromatic blue as well as a photo of the band from the album's insert.
