Sheer Terror is a hardcore band from New York City. They were founded in 1984, right as the first era of hardcore was winding down throughout the country. What Sheer Terror created was something all their own, bringing in influences from heavy metal bands like Celtic Frost and pairing it with singer Paul Bearer's unique vocal stylings. They initially released records with Blackout! Records but over time worked their way up to the majors, singing with MCA before disbanding for a while. This show they played on December 11 was with Bugout Society, Ted Franko, and Sealed with a Fist at The Lowdown in Mt. Vernon, NY. This original Sheer Terror flyer has wear and fading.
