In the 1980s, beer brand Bud Light created Spuds MacKenzie for an advertising campaign. Spuds was a sunglass-wearing bull terrier. His first commercial was in 1987 and was retired by 1989, but in that short span the dog became a notable pop culture icon, even a contentious subject at times. But overall, Spuds MacKenzie was a fun loving dog who just wanted others to share in on the good times. This original Spuds MacKenzie novelty shirt, in great condition with some minor storage wear on the shoulder area, depicts and sad (and thankfully imagined) end to Spuds' party.
