Vintage Sugar "Beaster" Rykodisc Promotional Poster
Sugar, the post-Hüsker Dü band formed by guitarist Bob Mould, released the Beaster EP in 1993. The songs were recorded at the same time as their debut LP, Copper Blue, but had a different, heavier feel to them. The band's tenure was short, as they only released one more album during their time together before wrapping things up in 1995. Despite their small output and short career, the band was able to show their songwriting depth, partially due to the different sounds found on Beaster. This original Sugar poster, with some wear and tear, is from the 1993 release of their EP Beaster.
