System Of A Down released Mesmerize, their fourth album, in 2005. The band had grown to massive heights, becoming one of the most popular groups in the world over the course of a few short years. They decided that they would record a double album as their next release but ended up releasing the album in two parts, six months apart. The first in the pair was Mesmerize. It debuted at #1, has since been certified double-Platinum, and won a Grammy for Best Hard Rock Performance. This original System Of A Down shirt, lightly worn and faded, is from their 2005 tour in support of Mesmerize.
