The Jesus Lizard are a noise rock band who formed in Austin, TX in 1987 and moved to Chicago, IL two years later. They signed to legendary midwest label Touch And Go and became an integral part of the scene. The group was eventually signed by major label Capitol before splitting up in 1999. Since then they have gotten back together, with their most recent stint lasting into the present day. This original Jesus Lizard hand screened, signed, and (illegibly) numbered poster, with some damage to the corner, is from the band's return to their hometown of Austin, TX with Jon Spencer Blues Explosion.
