The Ring is a horror movie from 2002. The American version of the film, which was directed by Gore Verbinksi, is based off of a Japanese movie from 1998 which itself is based off a Japanese novel from 1991. The story is a simple concept about a haunted video but it was effective and efficient making the movie a smash hit. It brought in nearly $250 million at the box office and won at the Saturn, MTV Movie, and Teen Choice Awards shows. This original The Ring promotional hat from 2002 is in great condition.
