Verbal Assault were a hardcore band from Providence, RI who started in 1983. They played a melodic and thoughtful kind of hardcore similar in theory and kind of in sound to bands like 7 Seconds, who would actually release their 1986 EP Learn. In 1988, the band released Tiny Giants, a two-song 7" on Giant Records. It featured reggae-influenced parts and DC-inspired fast melodicism, a nice representation of the band's late 80's sound. This Verbal Assault shirt, nicely faded and worn with pinholes, is from the release of their Tiny Giants EP on Giant Records.
