War Hungry is a hardcore band from Wilkes-Barre, PA founded in 2004. The band started out with a more traditional NYHC-influenced sound and a not-so-serious live show but slowly transitioned into more down-tuned, southern influenced hardcore and then. They released a 7" on 1917 entitled Return To Earth and toured the country and Europe pretty regularly. This whole time they were changing lineups pretty regularly. Hoodrack always sang and Kev Mook always booked drums, but there was a revolving door of other musicians, like Bobby Edgecoat, Doty, Lurch, Albite, and more. And then, after the release of a split with fellow Wilkes-Barre band Cold World, War Hungry found a new guitarist, Arthur Rizk. He brought a new dimension to the sound, incorporating more heavy metal and synths which they showcased on their debut, self-titled LP release by Six Feet Under Records in 2011. It's an amazing record unlike anything else. War Hungry has remained sporadically active since then, thankfully playing every so often. This original War Hungry shirt is in great condition.
