L.L. Bean, the longstanding outerwear brand from Freeport, Maine, began producing a line of Made in Norway wool sweaters in the 60's. These sturdy sweaters were inspired by the ones worn on ships and docks by fishermen up and down the Norse coast. This particular iteration, with the classic "Birdseye" pattern, is from the 80s and is made from 80% wool and 20% Rayon for a nice comfortable fit.
