In 1986, Slayer released Reign In Blood, their third album and first for recently-founded Def Jam Record. Up until this point, Slayer had ruled the underground on Metal Blade but after impressing Rick Ruben they made the jump to the majors and wrote their most chaotic and impressive album yet. Reign In Blood is considered a thrash metal classic and cemented Kerry King, Tom Araya, Jeff Hannamen, and Dave Lombardo as some of the finest metal musicians ever on the scene. This original Slayer shirt, nicely worn and faded in great condition, is from the band's 1987 European tour in support of Reign In Blood.
